The saloon in Mini Hollywoood (Oasys) has been seen in many Spaghetti westerns with different names given to the building. The interior has not been seen as often as the exterior. Since the entire town set was created and built be Carlo Sim for “A Few Dollars More” it was used by Sergio Leone in both “For a Few Dollars More” and again in “The Good, the Bad and the Ugly”
In the first photo we see Lee Van Cleef as Colonel Mortimer as he walks to the bar to confront El Indio’s henchmen who are in town to scope out the bank. Afterwards they go to the saloon for a drink at the bar.
In the second photo we see the same interior of the
Yellow Rose with new decorations which was used again in “The Good, the Bad and
the Ugly”.
