As we know most of the Euro-westerns were co-productions from Italy, Spain, Germany and France which incorporated British and American actors to gain a worldwide audience. The films were shot silent and then dubbed into the various languages where they were sold for distribution. That means Italian, Spanish, German, French and English voice actors were hired to dub the films. Even actors from the countries where the film was to be shown were often dubbed by voice actors for various reasons such as the actors were already busy making another film, they wanted to be paid additional salaries for dubbing their voices, the actor’s voice didn’t fit the character they were playing, accidents to the actors and in some cases even death before the film could be dubbed.

in a while a bio on a specific voice actor as in Europe these actors are as
well-known as the actors they voiced.

Riccardo Tundidor (1947 – 1989)
Riccardo Tundidor was born on April 8, 1947, in Huesca, Aragón, Spain. Hea brilliant actor both in film and theater, television and dubbing. With a wonderful register of deep voice, he always managed to give extraordinary credibility to all his characters with an admirable simplicity. The Encyclopedia of Spanish Cinema tells us the following: "A man of exquisite education and cordiality, he began his professional career at a very young age. He broke into dubbing at the beginning of the 1970s and soon left signs of his unquestionable quality. His untimely death in 1989 in Madrid, undoubtedly left us without his best performances. Among many others, he dubbed José Ferrer in "La sombra del Pacífico", Christopher Plummer in "The Great Escape", Christopher Lee in "Long Shadows", Martin Sheen in "Kennedy", Liam Neeson in "Excalibur" , Rock Hudson in "Dull Angels" and "Secret Mission", Sean Connery in "Murder on the Orient-Express", Clark Gable in "Saratoga" and many more.He also appeared as an actor in several films such as: "The Mayor and Politics", "Affectionately Unfaithful", "The Apolitical", "Blood Stains on a New Car", "A Cabaret Woman", "Race Law", "The Dynamiters" and "15 Under the Canvas"
Riccardo Tundidor died in Spain sometime in 1989.
