Spaghetti Western Location – “Price of Power”

 In the 1969 film “Il prezzo del potere” (Price of Power) starring Giuliano Gemma and Van Johnson. The set for Flagstone which was built for Sergio Leone’s 1968 film “Once Upon a Time in the West” was used for the city of Dallas, Texas which was visited by U.S. President James Gafield (Johnson). The set was located in La Calahorra, Granada, Spain.

Since several of the buildings were constructed of brick and mortar a few remain today but part of the townsite is on private property and is a goat farm. Below is what was seen in 2022.
