Little Known Spaghetti Western Actors ~ Georg Attlfellner

[These daily posts will cover little known actors or people that have appeared in more recent films and TV series. Various degrees of information that I was able to find will be given and anything that you can add would be appreciated.]

Sometimes a person has a certain look or is asked to fill in for a small role during a specific shot in a film. Georg Attlfellner seemed to fill that role. Georg was born in Schliersee, Bavaria, Germany on February 5, 1927. He went to work in the West German film industry in the prop department. In time he became a set designer and then a production designer. He worked in over 20 films from the late 1950s until the early 1990s. He was bitten by the acting bug and appeared in roles in theater, TV and small, usually uncredited roles, that he worked in behind the scenes. Such was the case in the Euro-western genre. He was a prop man on two German westerns: “Apaches Last Battle” (1963) starring Lex Barker and Pierre Brice where he also appeared on screen as a barber. He also worked as a prop man in 1972’s “The Cry of the Black Wolves”. After his last credited work as production manager on the 1987-1992 German TV series ‘SOKO München” (aka SOKO 5113).

The only further information I could find on Georg was a post on his Facebook page dated February 5, 2022.

  1. If he is still alive, Georg Attlfellner would be 96 years old. In the photo above, he looks like an Italian chef.
