Little Known Spaghetti Western Actors ~ Giacomo Assandri

[These daily posts will cover little known actors or people that have appeared in more recent films and TV series. Various degrees of information that I was able to find will be given and anything that you can add would be appreciated.]

Giacomo Assandri was an Italian actor from Genoa, Ligurian, Italy who appeared in nine films between 1975 and 1983. His only Euro-western was in an unnamed role in 1977’s “White Fang and the Kid” starring Tony Kendall and Gordon Mitchell.

Assandri was married and had a daughter named Giulia. A hospitality house called Casa di Accoglienza in Genoa, offering assistance to the poor who do not qualify for government assistance was named in his memory on May 24, 2015. In the article it mentions his daughter Giulia received a certificate in the naming of the facility named in honor of her late father.

  1. There's obviously no information on Giacomo Assandri and there's no mention of how he died or even when but looking at that picture, which I believe was taken in 1977 for the film "White Fang And The Kid", he looks to be either 48 or 49 at best I'm not sure. He could be even younger than that in the photo, maybe 38 or 39. At least I THINK he was that old. I'm just going by the photo since there isn't anything else on him. Let me know if you find out more.
