Carmelo Artale was an Italian character actor. He had a five year five film career from an appearance in “The Leopard” in 1963 to his final film as a bartender in “L'odio è il mio Dio” (Hate is My God) in 1969. His only other appearance in a Spaghetti western was as a priest in “Pray to God and Dig Your Grave” starring Robert Woods in 1967.
I can find no other biographical information on him.

It says he's Italian but in that picture he looks like he could be from either India or Afghanistan. It must be the lighting I don't know. But he IS from Italy.
