50th Anniversary of the premier of “God is My Colt .45”

Today marks the 50th anniversary of the premier of “God is My Colt .45”. The film was directed bu Luigi Batzella using the alias Dean Jones and stars Jeff Cameron, Christa Nell and Donald O’Brien. In Langford City, a gang led by Manuel (Mark Davis), who works for the dishonest Federal Inspector Klinger (John Turner), terrorizes the farmers of the region. Army Captain Jackson (Jeff Cameron), a native of Langford, is given five days to defeat the outlaws as an undercover agent. Klinger takes possession of a map of a silver mine by killing Burton Prior, and kidnaps Mary (Christa Nell), the daughter of Prior and former girlfriend of Jackson. Jackson, ambushes and wipes out most of the gang and then goes looking for Klinger, who has fled to Mexico, where, after dealing with the arrogant and cowardly Manuel, captures the inspector. Jackson manages to escape and in a final duel eliminates Klinger.
