We continue our search for film locations for “The Mercenary”. After Sergei buys the machine gun from Pepote the scene switches to Curly and two of his henchmen watching two riders slowly crossing a river. They ride down to meet the men who are Elias Garcia and his brother. Suddenly one of Curly’s men shoots and kills the brother. When Elias tries to ride away, Curly’s man Sebastian throws a bolo and causes Garcia’s horse to trip throwing him into the water. When Curly asks what job Elias gave to the Polack, he pretends not to know what he’s talking about. Curly calls on Sebastian to help him remember. Sebastian beats him with a rock until he answers Curly’s questions. He says Sergei went to the Los Fresnos mine to deliver silver. Curly tells Garcia he won’t miss the silver where he’s going, then shoots and kills him.
