Italian director and writer Maurizio Pradeaux died in Rome, Italy on July 2, 2022. He was 91. Born in Rome on April 16, 1931,Pradeaux initially worked as a production assistant, doing so several times with Emimmo Salvi . In 1967 he directed his first film, the spaghetti western “Ramon il Messicano” (Ramon the Mexican) which he followed with a handful of other genre films. In the mid-1970s he focused on distributing film and only made one more “Thrilling Love”, which was also shown in a hardcore version. After leaving the film industry Pradeaux worked as an author. Besides writing and directing “Ramon the Mexican” in 1966, Pradeaux also co-wrote the screenplay for 1972’s “Thunder Over El Paso” starring Antonio Sabato.
