Not much
available on film and TV actor Gary Colleano. There’s a good chance he’s
related to the Australian circus Colleano family among which were Con Colleano
a tightrope walker and his nephew Bonar Colleano a performer with the Colleano
circus as well as Ringling Brothers then turning actor in the 1940s and 1950s.
Their features are similar so they could all be related.
Other than that
all I can find was Gary
appeared in a total of seven films and TV appearances from 1959’s ‘ITV Television Playhouse’ (1959) as Frank in
the episode ‘A Memory of Two Mondays’. His last appearance was in 1965’s
“Thunderball” as SPECTRE #11.
He was a
semi-regular on the British 1959 Charlie Drake TV series appearing three times.
He’s best
remembered as Slim in 1965’s “Carry on Cowboy” starring Kenneth Williams, Sid
James and Jim Dale.
