We continue our search for filming locations for “Day of
Anger”. Talby asks Scott if that’s his friend, the one who taught him to draw.
Scott say’s yes it’s Murph Allan. Talby tells Scott he remembers him as Murph
Allan Short. He was a marshal in Abilene
once who ran Talby out of town at the point of a rifle. Talby tells Scott maybe
Allan was right that he should take his gun away and send him back to the
stable. Scott tells Talby not to try it, it’s too late. Talby replies, “Yeah,
it’s too late.”
This scene was filmed at the Cinecitta western set saloon in
Rome, Italy.
