Italian stunt coordinator, stuntman
and film actor Angelo Ragusa died in Rome March 14, 2018. He was 65. Angelo was born in Rome on September 10, 1952 and worked as a
stunt coordinator, stunt double and stuntman on over 100 films from the early
1970s until today. During that time he also appeared as an actor in over 25
films. Known to everyone in the Italian film business as one of the great
choreographers of stunts he was a close friend of Enzo Girolami who relayed to
us the passing of this Italian film legend. Angelo appeared in at least three
Euro-westerns that I know of: “Keoma” (1976) as a Caldwell henchman and doubled
Franco Nero, “California” (1977) stunts and “Buddy Goes West” (1981) as a Slim
henchman and stunts.
