The tune became iconic after the release of the 1966 cult
classic starring Clint Eastwood.
It is associated with tense scenes in the film in which
gun-toting characters face off in deserted streets ahead of a shootout.
But Seoul has apparently used it to brilliantly troll its
northern rival.
And it is not the first time the South has blasted music
across the border as a form of psychological warfare.
