Renowned German voice actor Norbert Gastell died on
November 26th in Munich, Germany. He was 86. Born to German parents
in Buenos Aires, Argentina on October 14, 1929 he moved to Munich where he
attended the drama school of Ruth von Zerboni. He then entered the Theater and
later was seen on television before turning to voice acting. He was best known
as the German voice of Homer Simpson but to western fans he was the German voice
in twelve Euro-westerns such as: the voice of Aldo Sambrell in For a Few
Dollars More, Jean Luis in Trinity is STILL My Name.
