A 1981 TV
mini-series based on the novel The Sons of Freedom of Louis Caron. This
series tells the story of Hyacinthe Bellerose, in 1837 in Lower Canada during the rebellion of patriots. Bellerose gives the Oath of the Sons of Liberty and is later arrested and
sentenced to exile in Australia.
The 6
part mini-series premiered on French television from June 5 – June 27, 1981.
