This four part TV mini-series highlights the adventures of Mark Twain’s Tom Sawyer and Huckleberry Finn.

The boys Tom Sawyer and Huckleberry Finn are best friends. Tom lives with his brother Sid with his Aunt Polly. Huck lives in a barrel, his father is a drunkard. Together Tom and Huck experience many adventures. They free the innocent imprisoned Muff Potter from jail and expose Indian Joe as a murderer after searching for his hidden gold. Tom is in love with Becky Thatcher, the daughter of the judge. Huck is adopted by the Widow Douglas and moves in with her. However, he flees with her slave Jim, and they try to escape down the Mississippi River on a raft. Thus, along the way of Huck and Tom find their lives forever separated.
