Happy 65th Birthday John Dulaney

John P. Dulaney was born in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma on December 11, 1946, to T.J. and Betty Dulaney. John’s father owned ABCO (an aluminum windows and door manufacturing corporation). John attended John Marshall High School in Oklahoma City, Columbia College in Chicago and Columbia College in Los Angeles, California. At 19 he started work in a Hollywood film printing lab and special effects but soon began directing short films. Later he continued directing and producing films in New York City where he also owned a small cinema in the East Village. In 1969 he and his first wife and son, Tom, left for Europe where he began his acting career appearing in four Euro-westerns; “Return of Sabata” and “The Long Ride of Vengeance” (both 1971) and “Jesse and Lester Two Brothers in a Place Called Trinity” and “The Ballad of Ben and Charlie” (1972). His travels have taken him around the world many times and he has also made various films in Asia. John has written two novels as yet unpublished, and enjoys composing for the piano. Returning to Hollywood in 1988 he produced various films including the short children's film " The Legend of the Emerald Princess with Charlotte Lewis which was sold to Disney TV and won an award at the NY International Film Festival. Today John lives in Concord, California and owns MIND LOGIC a mail order company selling audio/video electronics and computer software/hardware. With his current wife Maria he has a boy, Chris, and a girl, Jacqui. – John Dulaney. Today we celebrate John Dulaney’s 65th birthday.
