Known as ‘The Mansion’ the set is one of the last locations which wasn’t discovered until 2023.
Built of wood it imitated the American style of old two-story farm or ranch houses. It was prefabricated and americanized in style. It appeared in three Spaghetti western films “Los rurales de Texas” (Two Violent Men). “Gemelos de Texas” (The Twins from Texas) and “Relevo de un pistolero” also from 1964 and “La ley del forastero” (The Man Called Gringo) and in 1965.
It appears that after the last shot needed it was totally dismantled making the discovery of its location extremely difficult.
The location was discovered to be in Hoyo de Manzaneros
in what is known as the Berzalejo estate. The use of the surrounding mountains
was used to narrow the search to its specific location. This was all prairie in
the 1960s but is now a residential neighborhood.
