Who Are Those Singers & Musicians? ~ Sibyl Amarilli Mostert

Sibyl Amarilli Mostert was born in Zimbabwe on April 14, 1954. She is an Italian singer.

In 1976 she performed the song ‘Keoma’, the main theme of the film “Keoma” directed by Enzo G. Castellari, composed by the brothers Guido and Maurizio De Angelis. On the album she is credited simply as "Sybil". In 1979 she played the part of the flutist in Federico Fellini's “Rehearsal”. In 1983 she participated in the Sanremo Festival with the song ‘Oppio’, written and produced by Franco Battiato (also present as a chorister in the song) and Giusto Pio, but was eliminated after the first performance, in all probability due to a technical problem with the base that compromised the performance on stage

In 1990, she participated in the creation of Paolo Conte's album ‘Parole d'amore scritte a macchina”. After this job, she dropped out of sight, although in the book Sei una bestia, Viskovitz by Alessandro Boffa in 1998 is credited as the author of some photos in the text.

Sibyl sang with Guy (Guido De Angelis) for the main theme song for 1975’s “Keoma”.
