Are you hungry? Today we will have a nice feast of beans with the legendary Bud and Terence.

One of the most famous couples of actors in Italian cinema comes back to life with the impersonation of Stefano Sic Perna and Gianluca Cardinali, Bud Spencer and Terence Hill respectively.

Their friendship was born by chance, but they immediately shared the passion for their idols of Italian western films but not only.

[Bud Spencer and Terence Hill]

The late Neapolitan actor Carlo Pedersoli, aka Bud Spencer, left us on June 27, 2016. However, we will all always remember his great characters and his unique and charismatic personality, he will always remain the gentle giant of our cinema.

After a past of sporting successes, also as an Olympic athlete, Carlo Pedersoli began the historic collaboration with Terence Hill. God forgives... I don't! it was the first film shot together with Mario Girotti (Terence Hill) who had already obtained roles in other important films, one of them The Leopard. But it is with Bud Spencer that he too gets the consecration. From that moment on, the couple became one of the most legendary over time and the two actors starred together in many films. The parts of They Call Me Trinity are unforgettable, as well as those in ... otherwise we get angry! Born with a shirt and many others.

The two characters come back to life thanks to the interpretation of Stefano and Gianluca, obviously with the right makeup and look for the occasion. In fact, we can see how the two impersonators entered the part wearing the scruffy clothing just faithful to the original that we can see in the film They Call Me Trinity. The depiction of the characters of Trinity and Child is not only in appearance but also in movements, attitudes and expressions. We see them in snapshots made with western-themed sets, locations made famous by the couple's films.

But they pose not only in the guise of cowboys but also as the bizarre policemen of the film The Two Almost Flat Superfeet, the characters of the story manage to enter the police despite being completely inexperienced but entertain with their unique irony that distinguishes them.

The films of Bud Spencer and Terence Hill are loved by generations of viewers, both adults and children, for their genuine comedy and never in bad taste, and how can we forget the legendary fistfights that have entered the collective imagination!

Given their great resemblance, Stefano and Gianluca participate in cosplay and comic fairs and events throughout Italy.

And now it's time to ask them a few questions to learn more about their costumes.

Which of you two had the idea of starting to be an imperonator, did you already know each other before or did you become friends like that?

Gianluca, who am Terence Hill, had actually started alone as Trinità last year in April and then we met by pure chance on social media. Seeing a photo of him, I commented to Stefano: "But do you know that you look like Bud Spencer? Should I make the costume of Bambino?" And from that moment the couple was born.

Another question to Gianluca

Was it more difficult to play roles not as cosplayers but as real impersonators?

Well, we certainly had to learn their mimicry, tics, movements. Like putting your hands on your belt and in your pocket rather than stroking your beard, etc. For me it was easier because my profession is acting but it was hard at the beginning but at the same time fun. The most complicated phase turned out to be that of make-up. Learning how to do makeup from Trinity and also from Terence's other "cleaner" characters was difficult but slowly I learned with quite a few satisfactions.

And instead we ask Stefano these questions

Would you have ever imagined one day finding a Terence Hill impersonator who had asked you to become his Bud Spencer?

I had the idea of doing a cosplay of him but I had always postponed because I didn't feel ready but when I received the proposal from Gianluca it was like Pandora's box opened!

Do you have any plans for future interpretations also in single roles of Bud such as Banana Joe?

Absolutely they are already in the pipeline, albeit in an embryonic state, and being like Gianluca a perfectionist, I try to be as precise as possible to best honor these giants of Italian cinema as well as our favorites.

Do you also find yourself in Bud's unique character, that is, a little gruff but kind-hearted?

This is not up to me to say but being rather gruff of my own maybe in something I reflect myself, but deep down I think I am quite good, when they don't make me angry hahaha!

And now a curiosity about both

Are you planning new sets with iconic vehicles such as the Dune Buggy?

Well, what we can say is that you haven't seen anything yet, we have many projects that we will gradually reveal and so all you have to do is follow us and have fun with us, it is our fuel every single smile of adult or child that excites us and fills our hearts with joy!

We can already anticipate that we will play Ben and Kid from ... otherwise we get angry! and there will also be the legendary Dune Buggy, then we will participate in events posing in the roles of Walsh and Kirby in The Two Almost Flat Superfeet with their police car as well.

Soon there will also be photo shoots with horses where we will play the part of Hutch and Cat from The Four of the Hail Mary and a friend of ours is already preparing the costume of Cacopoulos played by the actor Eli Wallach.

So, stay tuned because you know ... otherwise we get angry!
