Arturo Dominici was born in Palermo, Sicily, Italy on January 2, 1916. He was an Italian film, television and voice actor. He was best known for his villainous roles in horror and fantasy films such as Eurysteus in “Hercules” (1958) starring Steve Reeves, Mario Bava’s “Black Sunday” (1960). He was also the Italian voice of Papa Smurf.
He appeared in over 280 film and TV roles from 1949 to 1986.
Dominici's daughter, Germana, is an Italian stage actress; at the age of 14 she had a small role as a farm girl in “Black Sunday”.
Sometimes billed as Arthur Dominick, Arthur Kent, Henry Kruger he appeared in seven Spaghetti westerns and dubbed over 100 more.
Dominici died of cancer on 7 September 7, 1992, at the age of 76.
