British voice actor Nicholas ‘Nick’ Alexander was born in Gloucestershire, England and is the father of British/Italian actress Jane Ana Alexander [1972- ], not the American actress of the same name. He is the grandfather of actress Damiano Schiozzi [2003- ].
Nick was one of the main men in the English dubbing of Italian films in the late 1960s to the 1980s. He was a dubbing director, editor and actor. He was the English voice of Maurizio Merli. He worked on over 130 films during his career mostly behind the camera in many different aspects from casting to directing from 1963 until his death in Rome on February 21, 2004.
