Tamas Fellegi was a mainstay in the world of Spaghetti
westerns. He was born in Budapest, Hungary and fled in 1956 after the Soviet
takeover and came to Italy along with his friend. Janos ‘John’ Bartha. Both
entered the Italian film industry and under the name Tom Felleghy excelled in
playing numerous military officers, lawyers, doctors, and other officials in
Italian films of the 1960s and 1970s. Felleghy began his career in Hungarian
theater, primarily as a director. He was married to Liane Ger from 1959-1990
when she died. He was the father of two children. For years his whereabouts
were unknown and only last week we found out he had died in Bracciano a suburb
of Rome on September 13, 2005. Tom had appeared in over 230 films and TV series
among which were 34 Euro-westerns.
It's mighty strange that Wikipedia doesn't mention that. They DID, however, mention that Hungarian actor John Bartha died in 1991. So at least that's something.
