After almost losing his TV series “Lucky Luke” Terence Hill edited together episodes and added some additional footage and released the 1991 film “Lucky Luke”. He anticipated releasing a sequel to gain funds to finish the TV series, but it never came to pass. He finished the TV series and that was the end of his association with the project and the character.
