Aquila d’Oro
(Golden Eagle)
A series of three Spanish produced comic books Aquila d’Oro (Golden Eagle) (drawings by
Luis Romos), Yankee and Yuma alternated with other titles such as I Marines and I tre cowboy by Francisco Cueto. The photo covers were taken from
successful western films such as “Branded”, The Valley of the Mohicans” and
“Geronimo”
Issue #1 was published in August 1962 and ended with issue
#11 in June 1963. It was published by Bianconi Editions in Milan, Italy
under the direction of Renato Bianconi. Each issue consisted of 48 black and
white pages with color photographic covers.
