Italian cinematographer Aiace Parolin died in Rome, Italy
on November 19th. He was 96 years-old. Born in Cagliari, Sardinia on
March 28, 1920 Parolin was the favored cinematographer of Pietro Germi and
together they worked together on nine films. Among them was “Seduced and
Abandoned” (1964). After Germi’s passing Parolin worked on five Euro-westerns
including “The Sheriff Won’t Shoot” (1965); “A Minute to Pray, a Second to Die”
(1968); Carambola (1974); Carambola’s Philosophy: In the Right Pocket (1975)
and “Keoma” (1976).
