British actress Adrienne Corri died March 13, 2016 at the
age of 85. Born Adrienne Riccoboni on November 13, 1930 in Edinburgh, Scotland,
Cori appeared in a number of film roles, and is probably best known for playing
Mrs. Alexander in the 1971 Stanley Kubrick film “A Clockwork Orange”. She
played Lara's mother in David Lean's 1965 film “Dr. Zhivago” and appeared in
the Otto Preminger thriller “Bunny Lake is Missing”. Her lone Euro-western
appearance was as Pegeen O’Brien/Daisy in 1961’s “Dynamite Jack” starring
Fernandel.
