L. Edwin Kean, impersonates a preacher in order to plant a stack of bibles containing dynamite with a timer onto a stagecoach. The coach containing $400,000 is held-up and robbed by Moses who takes the mailbag with contains the dynamite and narrowly avoids being blown-up. When the stagecoach reaches the Springwood Bank a gambler named Clay Watson has just won $130,000 at the poker table and is told to collect his winnings from the bank. But Clay finds that Moses and Kean have teamed up and have robbed the bank. The three rogues now take turns stealing the money from each other in a series of double-crosses, fake marriages and plenty of fisticuffs. The three must unite for fend off the attack of a gang of Mexican bandits who have gotten wind of the loot. Then the U.S. Army is sent to recover the loot.
