Spaghetti Western Locations
In “The Good, the Bad and the Ugly” Angel Eyes arrives at the Stevens ranch looking for information. The exterior used was one building previously shown but Leone used an entirely different building many miles away for the interior scenes. The building still exists and is called Cortijo de la Hoya Altica and is used to house goats and pigs. This building is located on the south side of the road from Retamar to Cabo de Gata, about a mile from Retamar. It is in front of a plant where there are several ruins but it is the one occupied by animals.

Tom, check the film's title again. I'm sure you'll find the mistake. ;-)
ReplyDeleteThanks ephedrino, stupid mistake on my part, but I've changed it to the correct film "The Good, the Bad and the Ugly". I appreciate the notice.
