Spanish actor Juan Fairen Ferre was born in Barcelona, Catalonia, Spain on October 14, 1939 and began his entertainment career as a wrestler using the name Johnny el Corso. From there he entered films in the mid-1960s. He appeared in several dozen films ending in 1992. As an actor he was billed under several names including Jhonny Fairen, John Fairen, Johnny Fairen, Jony Fairen, Jonny Favrer, Juan Fayren.
For his Spaghetti western career which consisted of seventeen films he was usually credited as Juan Fairen and most of his roles were as brawlers (taking advantage of his fighting skills) and as henchmen and Mexicans. He was a gifted stuntman and character actor.
As a stuntman and supporting actor, his imposing physique led him to fight hand-to-hand with Giuliano Gemma in "The Long Days of Revenge."
Fairen died in Spain on March 31, 2025.
