American supporting and character actor Peter Dane was born Edward Michael Voigt in Fresno, California on June 2, 1918. He appeared in his first film as Walter Dunlap in 1944’s “Youth Runs Wild” directed by Mark Robson. His last film was as Rossi in 1982’s “One Down, Two to Go?, directed by Fred Williamson and starring Fred, Jim Brown and Jim Kelly. Altogether Dane appeared in 36 films and TV appearances.
Peter was married to actress Constance Joan Dugovic in 1958 and later married Rose M. Gardy in 1964. They were married until his passing in Los Angeles, California on July 16, 1985.
Dane appeared in two Spaghetti westerns: “L'odio è il mio Dio” (Hate is My God) in 1969 as Arhtur Field and as Harper in 1969’s “Bruciatelo vivo!” (Land Raiders).
