Byron George Petitto was born in Harrison, West Virginia on February 14, 1946. He was the younger brother of Spaghetti western star Tony Anthony [1937- ] and writer Antoinette M. Petitto Light [1939-2011].
Byron graduated from Washington Irving High School in Clarksburg and he along with his brother Roger founded Vadim Ltd. Which refined hair weaving which they called ‘hair weft” which they learned in Harlem, New York and refined the method to suit both Caucasian and Black hair textures.
Under the stage name David Dreyer, he appeared in seven
films and TV appearances beginning with “Blindman” in 1971 playing the role of
Dude. The film starred his brother Tony Anthony.
David then appeared in the Spaghetti westerns “Get Mean” in 1975 as one of Sombra’s (played by Lloyd Battista) henchmen.
David died in Rancho Santa Margherita, California on November 18, 2014. He was 72.
