Bat Masterson
This comic book series was published in 1959. The stories were written by France Herron (texts), Howard Nostrand and Bob Powell (drawings) inspired by the television series produced in 1959 by CBS which narrates the adventures of ‘Bat Masterson’, a character who actually existed and known as "the iron fist sheriff". The popularity of the character, always elegantly dressed and not inclined to violence, faded just two years after his creation, corresponding to the conclusion of the television series. In Italy it was published by Editoriale Corno in Maschera Nera (1963), I Classici del Fumetto Supplementi (1964) and Smack (1968).
