50th Anniversary of the premier of “The Fabulous Trinity”

Today marks the 50th anniversary of the release of “The Fabulous Trinity”. Directed by Steve McCoy and Pedro L. Ramirez it starred Richard Harrison, Fernando Sancho, Chris Huerta, Ricardo Palacios, Cris Huerrta and Fanny Grey. It tells the story that in a Western town, Miss Nora Vargas (Grey), a beautiful bootlegger, meets Scott (Harrison), a bounty hunter that goes to Mexico tracking down outlaws. While in Mexico, three gun smugglers (Huerta, Palacios, Garcia) are arrested by Colonel Jimnez (Sancho) for supplying weapons to General Zapata. They are put to hard labor in a prison camp, but are freed by their niece Nora, who has used all her skills of seduction to get them pardoned. But the guerrilla leader realizes the trap and now the three smugglers are considered fugitives pursued by the Mexican revolutionaries and also by Scott, because the law has put a price on their heads. Miss Vargas hopes to put her three uncles to work smuggling guns again but the weapons are stolen and Scott comes to the rescue capturing the thieves and riding off into the sunset with Nora.
