  1. Some reports say that Henry Silva died at age 96 but I disagree. Henry Silva was born on September 15, 1928, in Brooklyn, New York but grew up in Harlem. He grew up watching the Westerns of Randolph Scott and Joel McCrea and remembered wanting to work with them. He eventually got to work with Scott but as for McCrea, not so much. He DID get to work with Gregory Peck, Richard Widmark, and Lee Van Cleef. It is also widely reported that he was of Puerto Rican ancestry but this is also not true. He was one of my favorite actors and still is. I will still miss him. RIP Henry Silva. September 15, 1928-September 14, 2022, taken too soon at 93.
