Who Are Those Guys ~ Nino Crisman

 

Ettore ‘Nino’ Crisman was born in Trieste, Austria-Hungary on October 27, 1911. After graduating with a degree in economics and business, he entered the Naval Academy and rose to the rank of officer. Upon his discharge he enrolled in the Centro Sperimentale di Cinematografica (CSC) in Rome where he graduated in 1938. His first film was in 1939 entitled “The Department Store” and directed by Mario Camerini. Other films followed such as “El Greco” (1966). From 1951 onwards he also worked as a film producer. He was married to the actress Rossana Martini. Crisman died in Rome, Italy on November 15, 1983.
