Carlos Peña, a Granadino professor, railroad and western enthusiast (with the help of Francisco Arco and one of our boys, Jose Luis de Vicente), solves one of the great mysteries of Spaghetti-western: the location of the Esperanza station, Station that appears in the movie ′′ Navajo Joe ′′ (Sergio Corbucci, 1967). The station was near Ontigola (Toledo) town. This lost location has long been a thorn in the side of location hunters as there is nothing that remains of the station today and none of the actors remembered anything about it.
