European Western Comic Books ~ Il Cavaliere Rosso (The Red Knight)

This comic book series was a collection based on three characters. The western character was el Cavaliere Rosso (The Red Knight) and the adventures of Sitting Bull. The comic book was published by Edizioni Zenith in Milan, Italy under the direction of Luigi Della Caa and contained 13 issues. The first issue was published October 21, 1951 and it ended with issue #13 on January 13. 1952. Each issue contained 16 black and white pages with a color cover. They were written by Marjac and designed by Pierre Duteurtre (Dut); the covers were by Gino D’Antonio. The first two books are in color. From #7 on we see changes as the cover becomes graphic.
