Collana ALBI 2000

This western comic book was published in 1958 and consisted of 13 issues #1 issued in February 1958 and ending with issue #13 in March 1959 by Editorial Comics in Milan, Italy under the direction of Badelli. It consisted of 96 pages with color covers and black and white pages.

It included two different editions of #9 and #10. A second series of ALBI 2000, presented reprints of material already published on ALBI ARIETE GRANDI ADVENTURES (Ariete, 1955) (nos. 1/5) with new drawings by Gino Cossio were taken from DICK SAETTA (nos. 6/7 ) from the III series of GREAT ADVENTURES; ROCKET (nn. 2,6); GUNGA DIN (No. 9) from the 2nd series of GREAT ADVENTURES. On nos. 10 (February 1959) and 11 (March 1959), in III of cop., We find the following announcement: "To our friends. We apologize if, contrary to what was announced in n. 8, 9 and 10 of the "Albi 2000" series does not carry the title respectively: "Lurking on the Red Rocks" and "Il covo dei banditi". The publications bearing the following stories, although printed, for a failed and timely authorization of the French copyright have not been put up for sale. However, let us suppose with original stories even better than those announced in this direction”.
