Spanish voice actress Josefina
de Luna died in Madrid on April 25th she was 95. Josefina was held
in great reverence by all Spanish voice actors as her career started back in
1939. She was the voice of such actresses as Ingrid Bergman, Anne Baxter,
Claudia Cardinale, Olivia de Havilland, Claudette Colbert, Gina Lollobrigida, Marilyn Monroe, Jayne Mansfield and Gloria
Swanson. She voiced over 20 Euro-westerns including Jayne Mansfield in “The
Sheriff of Fractured Jaw” (1958), Karin Dor in “The Last Tomahawk” (1964), Norma
Bengell in “The Hellbenders” (1966), Maria Perschy in “Vengeance
of Pancho Villa” (1966) and Claudia Cardinale in “Once Upon a Time in the West” (1968).
