Prolific Italian stage actor Franco Giacobini died on December 27th in Rome.. Born Francesco Giacobini in Rome on March 15, 1926, he worked in comedy plays, dramas and revues. Giacobini also appeared in numerous films and TV-works, usually in comedic roles among which were three Euro-westerns “The Mercenary” (1968), “It Can be Done Amigo” and “Sonny & Jed” (both 1972). He was married to actress Angela Goodwin.
