Paul Piaget
Ducurroy was born on September 5, 1934 in Jerez de la Frontera, Cadiz, Spain.
Paul’s family is part of the Piaget jewelry and watch manufacturers. Paul’s
film career began in 1961 when he doubled Charlton Heston in “El Cid” directed
by Anthony Mann. He specialized in the Spanish western genre appearing in seven
of the Euro-westerns from “Shadow of Zorro” (1962) with Frank Latimore to
“Charge of the 7th” (1964) with Edmund Purdom. He dropped out of the
film business after the “Charge of the 7th”. His daughter, actress
Cristina Piaget [1969- ] has followed in his footsteps.
Piaget died
in Madrid, Spain in 1985.
Today we
remember Paul Piaget on what would have been his 80th birthday.
