Remembering Raymond Pellegrin
He was born Raymond Louis Pilade Pellegrini on January 1, 1925 in Nice, France. Hewas a stage actor and made his screen debut in 1945's “Naïs”. Besides acting he was also a dubbed films into French and was famous as the voice of Jean Maraisin the Fantômas film series. He was married to actresses Dora Doll (1949-1955) and Gisèle Pascal (1955-2007). He is the father of actress Pascale Pellegrin. Raymond made one European western the 1968 film “A Taste of Death” as Sheriff Bill Ransom. Pellegrin's last appearance was in 2002 in the TV film “Notes sur le rire”. Raymond died on October 14, 2007 of natural causes. We remember Raymond Pellegrin today on what would have been his 85th birthday.
