'The Cowards of Big Creek' the short film made in collaboration with the Spaghetti Western Pietrastornina association, will participate in the Fourth Edition of the festival of the western genre.

The film, directed by Gaetano Cucciardi - already known for the award-winning "Il berretto di Squille" - will premiere during the Spaghetti Western Pietrastornina festival, scheduled from 4 to 7 September 2025 in Pietrastornina.

The direction is entrusted to Gaetano Cucciardi. The protagonists of the short film are Lucio Ciotola, Gianpaolo Gentile (also author of the story and screenplay), Luca Gaeta. Original soundtrack composed by maestro Domenico Rocco and performed by the Ricciardi Theater Orchestra.

The festival, now in its fourth edition, is once again an unmissable event for fans of the genre.

The event is a precious showcase for emerging cinema and popular culture, and represents a meeting point between territory, music and Italian western narratives.

Fulvio Urciuolo, president of the 'Spaghetti Western Pietrastornina' association, emphasizes: "With this project we want to bring out our reality and our ideas to the national and international public". The initiative was born from the synergy between public, private, institutions and citizens, and is strengthened this year by the twinning with the Mequinenza International Film Festival.
