Little Known Spaghetti Western actors ~ Yvonne De Bark

[These daily posts will cover little known actors or people that have appeared in more recent films and TV series. Various degrees of information that I was able to find will be given and anything that you can add would be appreciated.]

 Yvonne De Bark is the stage name for Yvonne Wunschel born in Munich, Germany on August 8, 1972. She studied English and sports to become a teacher but later attended drama school. She has appeared in German TV shows like ‘Die Motorrad-Cops’, ‘Marienhof’, and ‘Alarm für Cobra 11’. She also starred in the films “Sons of Trinity” and “Zeit des Schweigens” (Time of Silence). Since 2013, de Bark has worked as a coach and public speaker on body language and management.

From 2000 to 2001, she starred in the German TV show ‘Die Motorrad-Cops’ playing convincingly the courageous and sometimes even capricious female officer Sunny Labonne. Because of the many elaborate stunts in each episode, the making of the show was expensive and when due to a general crisis the prices for TV advertising shrank, it was considered as a financial risk to continue. In all she’s appeared in twenty-eight films and TV appearance beginning in1994 and has three more upcoming. She’s also directed one film “Suicide” in 2001.

De Bark was photographed in 2000 for the April issue of German Playboy, and again in October 2007, de Bark was the cover girl of the German men's magazine Matador.

In February 2008, she published her first book titled Mama-Trost-Buch – Auch andere Mütter erziehen Monster (Mom's Backup Book – Also other mothers raise monsters). Here she describes raising children while putting educational advisors to a tough test.

She had her children Lara and Dorian with partner director Raoul W. Heimrich. Currently she is married to Volker Mießeler the mayor of Bergheim, Germany.
