Little Known Spaghetti Western actors ~ Gary Combs

[These daily posts will cover little known actors or people that have appeared in more recent films and TV series. Various degrees of information that I was able to find will be given and anything that you can add would be appreciated.]

Assistant director, stunt coordinator, stuntman and actor Gary Murdock Combs was born in Los Angeles, California on December 13, 1935. He is the son of stuntman Delmer Combs [1896-1973]. He’s appeared in over 130 films and TV series and is best known for his appearances in “Tom Horn” (1980), “Blade Runner” (1982), “RoboCop” (1987), “Legends of the Fall” (1994), “The Horse Whisperer” (1998) and “Princess Diaries” (2001). He’s also been active in multiple Stephen J Cannell Television series such as ‘21 Jump Street’, ‘The Commish’, ‘Hardcastle & McCormick’, ‘Wise Guy’, and ‘Hunter’. Gary was one of the stunt doubles for William Shatner's Captain Kirk on ‘Star Trek’. In 2015 he was a recipient of an Honorary Lifetime Achievement Award at the Taurus World Stunt Awards.

Gary appeared in one Euro-western performing stunts in 1968’s “Blue”.
