We continue our search for locations for “The Forgotten Pistolero”. Rafael slaps down a coin and asks for tequila. As the cantina owner goes to pour a glass of the liquor three pistolero’s enter the saloon and shove the swamper out of the way. Following them is Miguel who Rafael delt with earlier in the canyon. Miguel takes a seat stares at Rafael and nods to the two pistoleros. Rafael is told he’s lucky he’s to be taken back alive. Then a fight breaks out. As the two pistoleros prepare to drag Rafael out of the cantina Sebastian appears in the doorway and tells them to put Rafael down. Miguel drops his shot glass and the two pistoleros draw their guns. Sebastian shoots them both as Miguel heads for the door. Rafael tells Sebastian to kill Miguel, or he will kill him but he only tells him to get out. Miguel runs, mounts his horse and begins to ride out of town but Rafael quickly runs to the door and shoots Miguel out of the saddle. Sebastian asks about his horse and Rafael says it was a good exchange that he didn’t want to cause trouble. As they prepare to leave town Sebastian see’s a church bell and something stirs inside. When Rafael asks what’s wrong he’s told nothing. The two men mount their horses and ride back to Sebastian’s ranch.
The interiors were filmed in Rome and the town scene was filmed at the De Laurentis western set.
