[These daily posts will cover little known actors or people that have appeared in more recent films and TV series. Various degrees of information that I was able to find will be given and anything that you can add would be appreciated.]
Erika Carlsson is/was an American actress who worked in many Mexican films during the 1970s and 1980s.
Carlsson began her acting career with supporting roles in Mexican feature films. From the 1970s onwards, while also appearing in U.S. feature films. In 1981 she had roles in “Four Pastor's Daughters”, “Macabra” and “Caveman”, “Triumphs of a Man Called Horse” and “The Honorary Consul”. In 1990, she played a supporting role in the feature film “Total Recall”, starring Arnold Schwarzenegger. Towards the end of the 20th century, roles in the films “Perdita Durango” and “The Mask of Zorro” followed. In 2001, she took on a speaking role in the video game ‘MechCommander 2’. In 2012, she was last seen in a film with a role in “In the Footsteps of Marsupilami”.
Michael Ferguson discovered Erika records two records in Mexico, one "Los Pajaros y Las Aberjas" in 1965 so we believe she would have been born sometime in the mid-1940s.
She’s also credited as Erika Carlsen, Erica Carlson, Erika Carlson, Erica Carlsson or Ericka Karson
There is little other biographical information on her and what may have become of her.
