Christa Linder was born on December 3, 1943, in Berchtesgaden, Bavaria, Germany. Along with her sister Hansi (Hannelore Linder) [1942-2010] studied ballet and dance. In 1962 she participated and won the Miss Austria pageant and then represented that country in the edition of Miss Universe that same year, where she was among the 15 finalists.

Linder then dedicated herself to modeling until, while she was resting by the pool of a hotel in Munich, she was discovered by the German filmmaker Alfred Weidenmann who offered her a role in the film “Verdammt zur Sünde” (1964) and, together with her beauty and acting naturalness, Linder ended up participating during the next four years in adventure and espionage genres both in Germany and in other European countries.
