Adventures of the Prairie – Heroic West

A total of 33 issues of this comic book series were released divided into four series. Non-progressive numbering.

All series were mainly reprinted material taken from Kid Colt and Kid-Two Pistols (Italy, 1959) with drawings by Doug Wildey and Jack Kirby, but also Thunder Jack by Giovanni De Leo and Renzo Orrù, here renamed Red Canadian, as well as Bily West.

Series I: the numbering of Series I begins with the  #5, continuing that of Il mondo della prateria (#s1/4, 1960). Up to #10 volumes, without dates, have tempera covers. Printer not indicated. From #11 changes the graphics and the Adventures of the Prairie and Erotic West logos appear on the cover (with the black silhouette of a knight). Covers with line drawings; the volumes are always without dates. Print: Graphic Arts Colombo.

Series II: the books have the same characteristics as the #s 11/16 of Series I.

Series III: Line art covers taken from Atlas/Marvel production drawings. The Erotic West logo appears on the cover on which Dynamite Kid on horseback stands out.

Series IV: Line art covers taken from Atlas/Marvel production drawings. On the cover of the first three issues, the Erotic West logo appears on which Dynamite Kid on horseback stands out. Then this logo disappears, and the unpublished covers are by R. Capredoni. Print: Tramontana lithograph. The books bear the dates only starting from #10. The last issues are re-covers.

This comic book series was published in 1961 with the release of issue #5 and ended in September 1963 with the release of #15. It was published in Milan, Italy under the direction of Giuseppe Meroni. Each issue had 192 black and white pages with color covers.
